Webinar on Fundamental Rights in Indian Constitution

The Webinar was organized by NSS unit of G. M. Vedak College of Science Tala in collaboration with NSS unit of D. G. Tatkare Arts & Commerce College Tala.
The webinar commenced with a preface delivered by Dr. D. U. Kuntewad, NSS Program Officer, D.G. Tatkare Arts & Commerce College, Tala, who highlighted the importance of Constitution Day and the significance of fundamental rights in a democracy. Then Dr. N. S. Yadav Sir, Principal of D. G. Tatkare Arts & Commerce College and Mr. J. V. Deore Sir, I/C Principal of G. M. Vedak College of Science addressed the participants. Following this, Dr. S. V. Bangale, NSS Program Officer, G. M. Vedak College of Science, introduced the esteemed speaker, Prof. Dr. Shrikrushna Tupare, NSS Program Officer, Anandibai Pradhan Science College.
In his address, Prof. Tupare provided a comprehensive and insightful explanation of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Indian Constitution. He elaborated on various types of rights such as Right to Equality, Right to Freedom, Right against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Cultural and Educational Rights, Minority Rights, and Right to Constitutional Remedies. Additionally, he explained the key articles that ensure these rights for Indian citizens, enriching participants’ understanding of their constitutional entitlements.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. N. M. Shaikh, NSS Program Officer, G. M. Vedak College of Science, Tala, expressing gratitude to the speaker, participants, and organizing teams. Dr. Bharat Chalke, NSS Program Officer D. G. Tatkare Arts & Commerce College, Tala efficiently anchored the webinar, ensuring its smooth flow.
