About Department

The Department of Physics was established in the year 2009, and became a full-fledged undergraduate department in 2012, under the headship of Mr. M.R. Londhe. Since then the Department has grown tremendously and now offers innovative papers like pc hardware, microprocessor and Python, which are useful for students in research as well as getting jobs in the IT sector 

        Every year the students of the Department participate in various activities outside the classroom such as organizing field visits to renowned research institutes and centers. The students are given several opportunities to realize their potential through inter-collegiate research programs like the Avishkar. The focus is on exhibitions, paper presentations and lectures on current topics in Physics, which expose students to the various research avenues and current trends in the subject. The faculty members are actively involved in research in the areas of Nanoscience and smartmaterials.
